Travel time is what decides it, and for a longer ceremony it is often workable. Call and ask before assuming otherwise.
Before you write
These come up most often. If your question is here, you have your answer without waiting for a reply.
How far ahead should I book?
A week is comfortable for most ceremonies. During the festival months and around auspicious wedding dates, the calendar fills considerably earlier — if you have a fixed date in mind then, book as soon as you have it.
Do I have to pay anything now?
No. Nothing is charged when you book. You can pay online by card or UPI before the day, or in cash to the pandit after the ceremony, whichever you prefer.
What if I need to change the date?
Rescheduling is free. Tell us at least 24 hours before and we will move you to any available slot. Call or message with your booking reference — it cannot be done from the website yet.
Which areas do you cover?
The booking form lists every area we currently serve, and travel within them is included in the price. If your address is not on the list, ask us before booking — we may still be able to help, but it needs arranging.
Do I need to arrange the samagri?
That is your choice, and the booking form asks before you confirm. Arrange it yourself and we send a checklist of exactly what to buy. Or, where the option is offered for that ceremony, we bring everything for a stated extra amount.
Can you help me pick an auspicious time?
Yes — tell us the ceremony and roughly when you are hoping for, and we will advise on a suitable muhurat before you commit to a slot. There is no charge for that conversation.
Which languages can the ceremony be conducted in?
The mantras themselves are in Sanskrit, as they must be. The explanation and guidance around them can be given in whichever of our pandit's languages suits your family — just say so in the booking notes.
I booked but never got a confirmation.
Check that the mobile number on the booking is the one on your WhatsApp. If it is, call us — it is far quicker than resubmitting, and booking twice creates two slots we then have to unpick.
