Preserving Vedic Traditions
in a Modern World
“A ritual is not a formality to be got through. It is worth the time it takes, and it should be performed as though the family in front of you will remember it.”

About Pankaj Pandir
Why Choose a Vedic Scholar?
There is a difference between reciting words and invoking energy. We ensure your pooja is performed with absolute purity.
Vidhi (Procedure)
We strictly follow the methods prescribed in the Grihya Sutras. No shortcuts are taken to finish the pooja early.
Bhav (Devotion)
A mechanical pooja yields no result. We create an atmosphere of divinity that you can actually feel.
Muhurat (Timing)
We respect the planetary positions. Every ritual begins exactly at the auspicious time calculated for you.
Glimpses of Devotion
The rituals we are asked for most often — the lamp, the fire, the kalash and the offering. Our own photographs will replace these as we take them.
On the day
What actually happens
Most families booking a pooja for the first time want to know what the morning will look like. It is usually simpler than expected.
- 1
Before the day
You get a WhatsApp confirmation with your booking reference, the pandit's name and his number. If you are arranging the samagri yourself, the checklist comes with it. Reminders follow three days, one day and two hours before.
- 2
He arrives and sets up
The pandit arrives at the booked time and lays out the articles — the chowki, the kalash, the lamp, the offerings. This takes fifteen to twenty minutes and you do not need to do anything during it.
- 3
Sankalp
The ceremony opens with the sankalp — the intention, spoken with your name and gotra. This is the part where you are asked to repeat a few lines. He will guide you word by word; nobody is expected to know them.
- 4
The main ritual
The puja or havan itself, performed to the full vidhi for that ceremony. You will be told what to do and when. There is no test and there are no wrong answers.
- 5
Aarti and prasad
The ceremony closes with the aarti and the distribution of prasad. He will tell you what to do with the remaining articles — what to keep, what to immerse, what to give away.
What we promise — and what we don't
What we undertake
- A qualified pandit attends at the agreed time, and you are told beforehand who is coming.
- The complete vidhi for the ceremony you booked — not an abbreviated version to fit the slot.
- The price quoted is the price paid. It is the same for every family and does not change with your address.
- If we get it wrong, we perform it again or refund you in full. Your choice, not ours.
—What we will not claim
- We do not promise any particular outcome in your life as a result of a ceremony. No honest pandit would.
- We do not sell remedies, stones or yantras, and nobody here will tell you that you need one.
- We do not offer paid astrological consultation as a separate service.
- If anyone tells you otherwise on our behalf, they are not speaking for us. Please tell us.
The same commitments, in full, are set out in our Terms of Service.
