New beginnings
Griha Pravesh for a new home, Bhoomi Pujan before building, a Satyanarayan Katha to mark a beginning well. These are the ceremonies that settle a place and start it on the right footing.
This is a working practice, not an agency. Every booking is performed by a pandit who does this for a living and treats it accordingly — the full vidhi for the ceremony you booked, at the time agreed, in your own home. The intention is simple: that a family should be able to hold a proper ceremony without having to already know how one works. You will be guided through the sankalp line by line. You will be told what to do and when, and what to do with the articles afterwards. Nobody is expected to arrive knowing the mantras, and nobody is made to feel that they should have. Ceremonies are conducted in Sanskrit, as they must be, with the explanation around them given in a language your family is comfortable in. Where a ritual has a muhurat, the slot is chosen around it rather than the other way round. The price shown against each pooja is the dakshina, it is the same for every family, and nothing is charged when you book.
Choose from our most requested auspicious ceremonies.
The five-chapter katha of Lord Vishnu, read before a havan — performed for thanksgiving and for any new chapter at home.
The housewarming ceremony — vastu shanti, kalash sthapana and a havan before the family first occupies a new home.
Pran pratishtha for the Ganpati idol on Ganesh Chaturthi — the installation that begins the festival at home.
The price you see against a pooja is the price you pay. It is the same for every family, and it does not change based on the address you enter.
Nothing is charged when you book. Read the full terms.
A house being moved into, a child being named, a year being marked. Each has its own ceremony.

Pandit Ji arrives on time with all necessary samagri.
Most of these move by a few weeks each year because they follow the lunar calendar, so the month is given rather than a date. The busy windows are worth booking well ahead of.
Nine nights from Chaitra Shukla Pratipada
The spring Navratri, quieter than the autumn one and traditionally the start of the Hindu new year. Families keep a ghatasthapana at home and read the Devi Mahatmya through the nine nights.
Book Durga Saptashati PathVaishakha Shukla Tritiya
Considered auspicious all day without needing a muhurat, which makes it the most popular date of the year for a griha pravesh, a new business, or the purchase of gold.
Book Griha PraveshChaitra Purnima
Hanuman’s birth anniversary. Households hold a Sunderkand path, usually in the morning, and distribute boondi prasad.
Book Sunderkand PathEvery Monday of the month of Shravan
The month for Shiva. Each Monday draws abhishek bookings, and the practice fills early — Shravan is comfortably the busiest stretch of the year for Rudrabhishek.
Book RudrabhishekShravan Shukla Panchami
The traditional day for serpent worship, and the date most families choose when a Kaal Sarp remedy has been advised.
Book Kaal Sarp Dosh NivaranBhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi
Mumbai’s largest festival. The idol is installed with pran pratishtha on the first morning and stays for one and a half, five, seven or eleven days. Book weeks ahead — the installation window is a few hours and every household wants it.
Book Ganesh SthapanaThe dark fortnight of Bhadrapada
The sixteen days set aside for the ancestors. Tarpan is offered on the tithi matching the date of death; where that is unknown, Sarva Pitru Amavasya at the close covers everyone.
Book Pitra Dosh ShantiNine nights from Ashwin Shukla Pratipada
The principal Navratri. Ghatasthapana on the first morning, the Saptashati read across the nine nights, and kanya pujan on Ashtami or Navami.
Book Durga Saptashati PathAshwin Shukla Dashami
Vijayadashami is treated as auspicious in its entirety, so it carries the same weight as Akshaya Tritiya for beginning something — a shop, a course of study, a new vehicle.
Book Shop & Office OpeningKartik Amavasya, in the evening
The evening puja to Lakshmi, Ganesha and Kubera, and for traders the chopda pujan that opens the new account books. The auspicious window is short and the whole city wants it.
Book Lakshmi PujaKartik Shukla Dwadashi
The ceremonial marriage of the tulsi plant, and the date after which the wedding season formally reopens. Vivah bookings cluster hard from here to December.
Book Vivah SanskarMuhurats published in the panchang for each month
The densest stretch for Vivah Sanskar. Dates are fixed by muhurat rather than convenience, so a handful of days carry most of the season’s weddings and they are taken months in advance.
Book Vivah SanskarThe sun's entry into Capricorn — solar, so the date barely moves
One of the few festivals fixed to the solar calendar, which is why it lands on the same date each year. Marks the end of the inauspicious Kharmas and the resumption of ceremonies.
Book Satyanarayan KathaPhalguna Krishna Chaturdashi
The night for Shiva. Abhishek is performed through four prahars across the night, and families keeping a vigil often book the first.
Book RudrabhishekExact dates and muhurats are confirmed against the panchang when you book. If you need a specific tithi, say so in the notes and it will be checked before the booking is confirmed.
Pandit ji travels to your home, office or venue. These are the areas currently covered — if yours is not listed, call and ask, because the list grows.
Not on the list? That does not always mean no.
Travel time is what decides it, and for a longer ceremony it is often workable. Call and ask before assuming otherwise.
